Our
Story
Rachel Naylor — Founder
Rachel Naylor is an educator, child development specialist, and creator of the K'nnekted Method, with over twenty years working with children, families, schools, and organisations.
She knows that everything starts in childhood. That the brain is shaped by early experience. That behaviour is always communication. And that when adults feel safe, regulated, and connected, the people around them do too.
That understanding, combined with her own lived experience of family complexity and her journey back to herself, shaped everything the K'nnekted Method is built on; a three-step framework rooted in nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and the science of play.
She works with parents navigating complex systems on behalf of their children, corporate leaders building teams where people genuinely thrive, nurseries and schools wanting evidence-informed CPD, and community groups supporting families through hard times.
An award-winning poet and freelance writer, Rachel believes in the power of authentic voice and the courage it takes to be truly seen. She believes everyone can thrive, when given the right environment and support around them to truly understand themselves.
Richard Naylor — Coach & Outreach
Richard's path has been anything but straight and that's exactly what makes him the right person to sit alongside someone trying to find their way.
After building a successful recruitment business, Richard had an epiphany that changed everything. He stepped away from corporate life and into residential care, and is now a social prescriber, connecting people to the community and support that statutory services alone can't provide.
He offers holistic life coaching for people seeking more balance, drawing on his own experience of navigating major life transition and the hard-won understanding that success looks very different from the inside than it does from the outside.
Richard also rediscovered his love of art, returning to painting as part of his own wellbeing journey. He understands that creativity isn't a luxury. It's a pathway back to yourself.
Together
We built the Family Wellbeing Hub because we lived the gap it's trying to fill; from different directions, at different times, in different ways.
Between us we bring corporate and community, education and lived experience, science and creativity, professional expertise and personal understanding. We don't just believe everyone can thrive with the right environment and support around them.
We know it because we've had to find our own way there too.
