About Us
We’re Rach and Rich; a wife and husband team and the founders of The Family Wellbeing Hub.

Together, we share a deep passion for real, human wellbeing.
Between us, we bring experience from both the high-pressure corporate world and frontline education, alongside qualifications in coaching, facilitation, and trauma-informed practice.

We’ve lived the demands of leadership, parenting, and performance. We know what it feels like to be stretched thin, over-stimulated, or running on empty, and we’ve seen how burnout, disconnection, and trying to fit in can ripple through families, teams, and communities.
Through our own journey, we learned that wellbeing, presence, and authenticity are not just ideals; they are essential foundations for thriving lives and thriving families.

Our Mission: Raising Awareness of ACEs
We are committed to increasing understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their lasting impact on emotional, physical, and relational wellbeing.

Through compassionate, accessible, and trauma-informed support, we help families, educators, and organisations to:

✅ Understand the long-term effects of early adversity
✅ Respond with empathy, not judgement
✅ Build safe, connected environments for healing and growth
✅ Prevent the generational impact of trauma through education and support

At the heart of our mission is a simple belief: when we build emotionally healthy organisations, the ripple effect reaches families, communities, and most importantly, our children.

This mission is deeply personal for us. Through our own journey as parents, educators, and professionals, we've seen first-hand how early experience shapes lives: and how presence, connection and support can transform them.

Our Story
When our son Archie was born in 2011, life as we knew it shifted. Rach could no longer run from the feelings she had carried for years: chronic anxiety, the ache of never feeling “good enough,” the invisible weight of appearing fine on the outside. Rich had been giving everything to work, long hours, endless energy, only to realise he was running on empty.

At first, we had a blueprint for how childhood would go, but Archie had other ideas. He refused to fit into any mould that wasn’t real, fair, and emotionally honest. Spirited and fiercely authentic, he challenged us to see the world differently. Watching him, we realised that our family didn’t fit conventional expectations either; and that’s when everything shifted.

Rach read every book going, navigating parenthood without external family support, often on her knees in exhaustion. When Archie started school, both of us knew we needed a radical change...to be there for him first. By the time our daughter Elsa arrived, the patterns were undeniable: modern life, with its routines, systems, and constant stimulation, was pulling us away from ourselves and from each other. Our children were sensitive and bright, masking themselves at school to survive, just as we had done as 'shy' young children.

We were determined to raise them 100% as themselves, even if it meant not fitting in with conventional expectations. Part of that was working on our own conditioning and reigniting sparks that had been hidden under years of societal and self-imposed pressures. Both children still attend mainstream school, but we ensure their needs are met, fully and without a diagnosis.

Through these experiences, we realised we could help other families. That was the beginning of The Family Wellbeing Hub. Rach’s fascination and passion for wellbeing took her down every possible route: from a diploma in quantum physics to neuroscience in the early years, she truly understands how society shapes the mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of our children.

In 2020, we stepped off the fast track. We moved from the city to the countryside, seeking space to breathe, to slow down, and to remember who we were beneath the roles and responsibilities. In that stillness, we reconnected with our inner children, our curiosity, and our creative sparks. We remembered the joy of being fully alive, and everything changed.

The Family Wellbeing Hub was born: a place where humans, adults and children alike, can pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves and each other. Not fitting in is celebrated here. At home, at work, or in community, we create spaces for real presence, real connection, and real growth.

Rach brings her expertise in education, child development, energy, frequency, and holistic wellbeing, alongside her creative voice as The Rek’nnekted Mum, sharing reflections, poetry, and her K’nnekted 3-step method for conscious, joyful living. Rich brings his passion for coaching, leadership, and creativity into abstract and portrait art with soul, exploring the human experience in colour, form, and feeling.

Together, we live by one simple truth:

✨ Relaxed Adults = Thriving Children ✨

Our work is embodied, experiential, and nervous-system informed. Through workshops, events, coaching, and immersive experiences, we guide individuals to reconnect with themselves, reigniting curiosity, creativity, and presence, and to improve wellbeing on every level: mental, physical, and spiritual.

Wellbeing is not a luxury. It’s the foundation for thriving families, thriving teams, and thriving communities. At The Family Wellbeing Hub, learning is lived, support is relational, and transformation is sustainable.

Through creativity, reflection, and connection, we help everyone remember what it feels like to be fully, unapologetically alive; even if you’ve never quite fit in.
